We are Digging Our Own Graves – COP26

The topmost news what as per me is the 2021 United Nations Climate
Change Conference at Glasgow. The COP26 summit has bring all parties
together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement
and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. All the Leaders
Presidents and Prime Minister’s from 150 countries are present including
young Climate Activists.

Everyone is talking about the damage already done to our Environment and
Climate and we are at the brink of catastrophe. As per UN
Secretary-General António Guterres, he clearly mentioned Enough is
Enough and we need to stop this mess, or it will stop us. We are digging
our own Graves.

But I wonder who is digging these Graves for whole humanity, and the
answer is Big Businesses, Industrialists, and who supports them
Governments, so they all are responsible. These capitalists are seeing
only their gains and profits, honestly, they give damn about Climate,
Environment or People’s suffering. The bitter truth and tragedy which
everyone knows and people sitting in COP26 Conference.

I am curious about the outcome of what will be the final decision on the
Goals laid by UN:

1. Secure global net zero by mid-century and keep 1.5 degrees within
reach

Countries are being asked to come forward with ambitious 2030
emissions reductions targets that align with reaching net zero by the
middle of the century.

To deliver on these stretching targets, countries will need to:

– accelerate the phase-out of coal

– curtail deforestation

– speed up the switch to electric vehicles

– encourage investment in renewables.

Not sure how many countries will adopt these points, Australia is not
ready what I understood from their Prime Minister, and India, target
given to reduce carbon emission is by 2070, where UN is pushing for
2050. Deforestation, checkout Brazil, Poland and others, forests are
vanishing, and who is responsible?

2. Adapt to protect communities and natural habitats

The climate is already changing, and it will continue to change even as
we reduce emissions, with devastating effects.

At COP26 we need to work together to enable and encourage countries
affected by climate change to:

– protect and restore ecosystems

– build defenses, warning systems and resilient infrastructure and
agriculture to avoid loss of homes, livelihoods and even lives

Protecting ecosystem, really, our ocean life is dying, and it is being
replaced by Plastic life. Waste material is dumped in poor countries and
polluting their places. How can one clean their house and throw waste
and shit in others house, is that humanity and you are accepting cleaner
environment and respect? How hypocritical, I am talking about UK here,
they are sending their wastes full of ships to countries like Romania.

3. Mobilise finance

To deliver on our first two goals, developed countries must make good on
their promise to mobilise at least $100bn in climate finance per year by
2020.

International financial institutions must play their part and we need
work towards unleashing the trillions in private and public sector
finance required to secure global net zero.

4. Work together to deliver

We can only rise to the challenges of the climate crisis by working
together.

At COP26 we must:

– finalise the Paris Rulebook (the detailed rules that make the Paris
Agreement operational)

– accelerate action to tackle the climate crisis through collaboration
between governments, businesses, and civil society.

Yes, we can rise together and work it out, but how. We need to engage
every person on this earth. Make them understand what we are heading
towards, we need to explain them why we see Rains, Earthquakes, Floods,
Tsunami’s and what is triggering them. Mother Earth is tired and is
saying Enough is Enough, I can’t take it anymore, you have abused my
existence and the result is what is in front of us, a disaster and
catastrophe. And yes, very important we are digging our own graves and
for our coming generations.

Lets’ pledge to save our environment together, save our mother earth and
heal her. We need to take steps and give something survivable and
livable to our future generations, so that they are thankful to us.

Today we are here and tomorrow we are gone; life is short and will not
wait for you.

Stop Using Plastic,

Reduce the Carbon footprint by using your car once a week,

Reduce consumption of electricity,

Let us plant more trees and nourish them.
